Our document licence

(1) Introduction

This Licence governs your use of the template documents on our website "Templates") and the use of documents produced using our legal document generators ("Generators"); by using our Templates or Generators, you accept this document licence (the "Licence") in full. If you disagree with any part of this Licence, do not use our Templates or Generators.

In this Licence, "we" means - and "our" refers to - SEQ Legal LLP.

(2) Intellectual property rights

We own the intellectual property rights in the Templates and Generators. Subject to the licence below, all our intellectual property rights are reserved.

(3) Licence to use Templates

You may view, download, print, copy, adapt, and amend the Templates, and you may publish amended versions of the Templates and documents produced using the Generators ("Derivatives") as website legal notices, subject to the restrictions below.

You must include a credit and hyperlinks on all Templates and Derivatives (in the form specified on the relevant Template).

You must not republish the Templates in unamended form, or publish Derivatives including any footnotes or square brackets appearing in the Templates. You have no rights to distribute the Templates or Derivatives or license to others any rights in the Templates or Derivatives.

(4) Limitations of warranties and liability

You acknowledge that we do not, under or in relation to this Licence, provide any legal advice to you, and consequently that it would be unreasonable to hold us liable in respect of your use of the Templates.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the Templates and Generators conform with relevant legal requirements, we do not warrant their comprehensiveness or accuracy; nor do we not commit to ensuring that the Templates and Generators remain available or that they are kept up-to-date.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions (including, without limitation, the conditions implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and the use of reasonable care and skill) relating to the Templates and Generators.

Our liability in relation to the Templates and Generators is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under this Licence or in connection with the Templates or Generators, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise - including, without limitation, any loss of profit, contracts, business, goodwill, data, income, revenue or anticipated savings.

However, nothing in this Licence shall exclude or limit our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

(5) Variation

We may revise this Licence from time-to-time. Variations to this Licence will apply to the use of the Templates (and Derivatives) downloaded from this website from on or after the publication of the varied Licence upon this website.

(6) Law and jurisdiction

This Licence will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to this Licence shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
