Free legal notices

This page contains brief details of the free legal notice template documents that are available for download from this site. The page is intended to help you decide which legal notices you need.

We have tried to make the legal notice templates as user-friendly as possible, whilst still providing comprehensive legal protection. The legal notices take into account the very latest legal developments at the date of release.

You will of course need to adapt the legal notice templates to suit your website and business. The more complex legal notices include detailed footnotes to help you make the adaptations.

Please read our document licence before using any of these documents. If you would like to use one of these documents without paying, you must leave the credit and links in the document. If you would like to use a template without including the credit and links, you will need to pay a licence fee on our Website Contracts site.
